Default The Hurt Locker and the Oscars

I was wondering if I'm the only one who thinks Avatar should have won best movie and that The Hurt Locker was a good movie alright, but not worthy of such an award.
I actually agreed with some oscars awarded this year, like best actor and actress and, of course, best foreign movie :-) But my opinion is that for the best movie award, they got it completely wrong. What do you guys think?

This film for me was very apolitical - but to Iraq, he differs from most of Iraq war movies theme in that it focuses more on the work itself that the political environment. Iraq was more like a piece together - any war would do, The Hurt Locker does not preach about it in particular.
