Gente! How have we not talked about this show yet. It is THE FUNNIEST show on television anywhere in the world. Honest. Well, OK...if you have any thoughts or feelings of having social phobias or quirks that prevent you from interacting with people normally (not giving too much away about myself), you will love this show. If you are tired of the same type of characters (well-off, attractive, etc.) being portrayed, you will love this show. I don't want to talk too much about it, but please give this show a chance. If you watch a couple of episodes and don't find the characters to be written at a level that is unexpectedly deep for a sitcom, tell me and there is a money back guarantee.

I've watched an episode myself and I laughed a lot, but I usually forget the hour and channel so i keep missing it =(

Everyone is telling me the same about the show, and they might be right, so I'll try to watch a couple more and tell you my impressions

Hi Vicky!!! I've never seen "how I met your mother" but I completely agree with Scott, The Big Bagn Theory is very very funny. I love it (and two a half men). You should give it a chance!!

Warner Channel, Tuesday nights (just missed it...) and on the weekends, Sunday evening, I believe.

People who liked "The Big Bang Theory" may also like British "The IT Crowd", both are very funny and portrait the same kind of characters. I'm waiting for the second and third seasons respectively -the first one, by September, I think-.

Also, you can hear the complete opening theme of The Big Bang Theory, the song "History of Everything", by Barenaked Ladies, if you search both terms in Youtube (Chose a version with more than 100,000 views). I didn't place the link because I don't know if it is against the rules of the forum.

I think the lyrics are quite amusing and original [or maybe I'm a bit too old to have an accurate opinion on it]

This post is just to remind everyone that the second season premiered this week and it definitely did not disappoint! I don't want to reveal too much, obviously, but it was a good start to a new stage in the show's life.
