What good horror movies have you seen lately? It's soooo hard to find a good one! (Though when you find it, it's sooo much worthwhile!) I can think of "Silent Hill" right now... any other suggestions?

Have you seen room 1408 ?
John Cusack and Samuel Jackson are great. Very good ending, I thought. Id did give me some frights! After all....it IS a Stephen King!!!!
I agree with Exxentrica, 1408 is great. John Cusack is one of my favorite actors.
Also, VACANCY is really creepy. The Host, The Grudge, The Eye, etc.
But the creepiest of all is SAW (any of the 4)
Deathproof!!! It's not exactly horror, more like a cheesey slasher film, but it is very good. I loved it. The other one, Planet Terror, not so much.
I've just seen The Eye, not creepy enough for my taste.
I don't like "blood" movies, like saw and Harry Krüger...
Oh, c'mon!! The only SAW worth seeing is the first!!
I really liked the Scream series because they were the first ones to "re-appear". There weren't so many before Scream...
The one that really freaked me out was "28 days later", I went to the movies to see that one and the idea of having to take care of yourself from every other human was awful. But the big screen enhances everything, it's not the same thing to watch a horror movie in your small TV in the living room!!
I have just seen that one too, freaky!!!Quote:

Hostel

I have to agree that 28 days later was Good!
If you liked 28 DL, then you may also like Dawn of the Dead.
I liked the Saws. But can't wait to see Hostel and Turistas.
I LOVE Dawn of the Dead, it's one of my favourite movies up to date, but I wouldn't say it's a HORROR movie... I think it's more of an action movie In which you jump out of the chair every once in a while =P

Anyone just happened to see Saw 4? Just to have an idea...
Hi, there are a lot of horror movies and other kinds of movies at: http://www.viewbay.com. Pls view it.
I never thought I'd say something like this, but I was sooooo impressed with "Halloween"!!! It was directed by Rob Zombie, and my god he did a great job. It is not only a horror movie, but a psychological analysis of a serial killer's mind. The insight with which he treats the subject shows that, for him, it is not merely a question of "God vs. the Devil", but the development of certain forces (both innate and educational) that end up leading to the creation of a psychopath. His treatment of the principles of Eros and Thanatos make the killings not merely a subject of morbidity, but the confrontation of two forces anyone can find in any human being.
Do you mean the original Halloween? Because there are like 20 of them...I lost count!
Vero,
I mean the latest one. It was made in 2007. Now they are shooting the second part. I hope it is as good as the first one! The guy who played Michael Myers' role is the same guy who played Sabertooth in X-Men and is going to star in the upcoming Thor.
Hello.
Pretty scary movie!!!

A good "horror" movie was A Quiet Place.. The genre of the film is not innovative, but they manage to generate a feeling of constant oppression by not being able to make any sound.. a pretty decent movie.
It's pretty good, but it didnt reach Get out's level.
A good one I've seen on Netflix was "I'm the pretty thing that lives in the house".
Has anybody seen "Necromicón: el libro del infierno"? Is an Argentine horror movie based on Lovecraft's stories
