How about "The Sound of Music" > "La novicia rebelde". Awful choice!!
"Moulin Rouge" > "Amor en Rojo". Arghh...
Some Spanish translations of movie titles are good for the context, though. An example that comes to mind is "There Will Be Blood" (Va a correr sangre, translated in Argentina as "Petróleo Sangriento")". People in the States usually get to watch movie trailers everywhere before going to the theater to see the actual film. We don't. We have to sort of rely more on the movie title itself. So "Petroleo Sangriento" is a pretty good choice.
Can you think of any other examples of great movie titles in Spanish?
