Default El Gran Truco vs. El Ilusionista

Hi everyody. Does anyone have an opinion on the two magic movies recently released with the above Spanish titles? El Gran Truco has Christian Bale and Scarlett Johanson, and El Ilusionista has Edward Norton. In my view, El Ilusionista is a very sixth-grade kind of story, and El Gran Truco blows its doors on story alone, not to Scarlett Johanson.

Opino que "El Ilusionista" es mucho mejor que "El Gran Truco"

¿A alguien asombró realmente "El ilusionista"? Está bastante bien escrita, pero ¿no están cansados de ver siempre esos giros que se advierten desde el comienzo de la película?

I thought The Illusionist was just a beautiful film- I absolutely loved it. And El Gran Truco (I can't remember the name in English) was awesome, but I remember having it figured out too early on... but still really good right up til the last moment.

Default The Prestige

The Prestige is a finer story, in my opinion, though I did enjoy both movies. The tired cliché of the twist ending that is so prevalent in movies these days has reached a point that it is almost unbearable. I still feel that The Prestige is one of the better movies I have seen in the past five years (top 20, not top 10), with excellent acting performances all around.

El Ilusionista me gusto, pero, para mi, El Gran Truco pertenece a otro nivel...es muy linda con grandes actores, y el argumento es más interesante...
