Default Thanksgiving, TURKEY DAY!!!

Hey guys,
Thanksgiving is my all time favorite holiday! for those of you who celebrate it as well, any favorite traditions you would like to share? what about favorite recipes???
one of my favorite is the turkey dunk, which is when people from my town jump into the harbor Thanksgiving day morning. (im from the north of the US, its pretty cold!) and of course, football!!!

Thanksgiving is wonderful in my family. My relatives come over and well we have some Turkey and of course since grandfathers picky stuffed pigeon.

Some eggnog beside the fire. Its almost Christmas...except we don't get any gifts.

Other than that its just one big family celebration. Its good life.

that sounds nice, but thanksgiving is something that i have never really understood maybe it's just because i'm not american, or maybe it's because i'm not really big on holiday celebrating either. it makes me happy though to know that mostly nobody is like me and they all celebrate the holidays. y'all have a very happy thanksgiving!!

jaja, the truth is hankco, not many of us truly understand Thanksgiving til later in life. But mostly, I think, it's become an excuse to eat a lot, nap, hang out with your family and watch football, like emilyb said.
By the way... is it possible that I have seen the turkey dunk on TV in the states? Does that make the news? I feel like I have seen it!
If not... what other time do people jump half naked into the water in the winter???

analaura... I know a few of my friends went to the most yankee bar they could find and drank a lot. I celebrated with a glass of wine and "You've Got Mail" solita en casa. jiji
