Why do bands need those names nowadays? Wasn't it more original back when The Beatles, The Eagles or The Rolling Stones were born?

Gentle, I think the issue of names is something very special for each band. Many use a name to identify the style of music they play and others choose a name because they associate or identify with something. The Beatles with the famous car, The killers with the name of a fictional band in a video of the band known as New Order and Metallica because it derives from Heavy Metal.

I agree with with Jonatane. I believe they also have that name for slaughtering every other rap group out there. These four guys are so talented in what they do that there is no competition out there for them. The name totally fits them.
