Hi guys. Miss Universe pageant is coming up and it will be in Mexico !!!!!!
I bet it�s going be spectacular. Have you taken a look at the contestants? Got any favorite(s) yet?

I will have to take a look. I have to admit im not exactly a huge beauty contest fan, but I always enjoy the big ones for some reason. maybe its the drama when they win.

I'd heard so much about it that I thought it couldn't possibly live up to the hype, but nevertheless found myself laughing out loud and hard on multiple occasions. People love to compare it to American Beauty, but for the effects it had on me, I prefer to compare it to Napoleon Dynamite.

Hola colegas . �Que les pareci� los resultados del "Miss UNiverse? Particularmente pienso que India y M�xico debieron estar entre las 5 semi-finalistas. Por otra parte, aunque la representante de Jap�n es muy bonita, pienso que la delegada japonesa del a�o pasado (quien qued� como 1ra finalista) merec�a mas la corona. De todas formas era de esperarse que este a�o no ganara una latina ya que el a�o pasado fue coronada Puerto Rico. �Que opinan Uds')

I actually liked Korea the most but was not disappointed by Japan winning. I feel the same way that some of the decisions may be made beforehand. Of course USA was in the top 5 since the owner of the pageant is from the US. I did not like the way she was booed at though - some people have no class.

I did not like her being booed at either. It was not nice at all. Fortunately, she handled the situation pretty well. I also agree that if they had decided to choose an Asian girl this yea, Korea would have been a much better option. However, in my opinion, this year some Latin contestants (Brazil and Venezuela) were better.
Funny .. last year the winner should have been Japan (big favorite that night), and yet they decided to crown Puerto Rico; this year they did exactly the opposite. Those are the things I don't understand about this pageant.
