    Default On Logic and Umbrellas

    Hello

If you are looking for a post related to umbrellas, I'm sorry to say that the title of this post is highly misleading.

I've published an entry on ambiguity and Logic: More on ambiguity and logic

There is an umbrella in the illustration, and it mentions umbrellas towards the end, but that's as far as it goes with respect to umbrellas. Sorry again!

But maybe you'll find something interesting in the rest of the entry.

    Cheers.

    Hi Federicop

I agree with you that there is hardly any other object more important to our civilisation than umbrellas. They are pregnant with symbolism. You only have to think that in the exam that you are asked to do before starting a new job, to test whether you are a psycho or not, you are asked to draw up a person with an umbrella. It seems that it says a lot about your inner feelings and motivations.

I find these tests highly stressing. It might be because I never use umbrellas. The reason is that I go about life mainly in a bicycle, and it is really difficult to ride a bike with an umbrella. Even more so if it's raining and you have the umbrella open.

Again, umbrellas rule! But something more difficult than relating umbrellas to bicycles is relating them to the translation trade. So I doubt you'll see lots of blog entries on this exceedingly enterteining topic.

    Cheers.
