| Jokes Whats more difficult to translate than a joke? Two jokes! If there is one thing that is difficult to translate, it's jokes. Although, they can provide a nice five-minute break. |

this one reminds me of my own son...
Johnny's mother looked out the window and noticed him "playing church" with their cat. He had the cat sitting quietly and he was preaching to it. She smiled and went about her work. A while later she heard loud meowing and hissing and ran back to the open window to see Johnny baptizing the cat in a tub of water. She called out, "Johnny, stop that! The cat is afraid of water!" Johnny looked up at her and said, "Really? He should have thought about that before he joined my church."

Good one! I sure am glad for the cat the kid had not preached in a
religious community where they practiced circumcision. Last edited by Leslie M : 03-16-2008 at 05:43 AM. |

Poor little catty...This joke would be taken as an insult in UK. Cats there are almost considered sacred...
...Well, may be not as the Pharoes did...but quite... |
