Welcome to the group SSKELSEY!
Quote:
Laura, To answer your question.....If I am right, sskelsey is in the US. Colleges/universities have 2-4 semesters per year. The one I went to had 3 semesters (spring, fall and summer), some have four (spring, summer, fall and winter). I took 8 semesters of Italian (which means 4 years because I only took it during the "school year" - no the sumeer session). And 2 semesters of Intense Hebrew (which was in intense course made up of 2 semesters crunched up into one- making the 2 semesters an equivalent to 4 semesters). In some spanish speaking countries the semesters are called ciclos. Hope that helps!
