Arrow !!! Hi from Argentina !!!

¡ Hi !

I'm Verónica from Argentina. I'm studying to be a Sworn Translator in English at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) Here is the link for you to check it out : http://www.uba.ar/ingles/index01.php

My job has to do a lot with Law, that's why here in Argentina, Sworn Translators take the same subjects as Lawyers. We translate personal documents, such as Birth Certificates, Marriage Licenses, School records, Passports...and of course, contracts of any kind. It's a HARD course of study, you know?

I hope to find the help I need and to MAKE FRIENDS here.

Best regards,

...::: Verónica :::...

Welcome to the Forum Veronica. I’m a certified legal translator too; although the certification process is quite different here in Venezuela. Hope to see you here often and hope we can help each other

Best regards

in Argentina there are several schools of Translatorship, in different universities, besides UBA (UADE, UCA, UB, etc.) and not all of them are Law-oriented. I'm a graduate from the UNLP (Universidad Nacional de La Plata), I'm a Sworn Translator too, but our courses include Literary Translation, Scientific-Technical Translation AND Legal Translation... AND ALL ARE HARD COURSES! hahaha.

good luck with your studies!

Hope it helps!
