entendido, Marianiles! a eso exactamente me refería: muchas veces se usan en Latinoamérica adjetivos relativos al origen nativo (indio) y mucha gente no lo acepta o lo toma a mal... en Argentina sería más difícil esto porque hubo una gran variedad de culturas indígenas así que no se podría designar a cualquier argentino por un solo nombre indio (aunque eso sucede con los nacidos en algunas regiones)...

lo de jíbaro no debe ser tan agradable... yo sólo conocía su significado de "reducidor de cabezas", y me puse a buscar... al parecer era costumbre de una tribu salvaje de Ecuador, donde también se aplica este término en forma peyorativa... interesante!
