Hi, I'm new so please forgive me if this is in the wrong place. I'm looking for a translator called Teo Verbrugghe de Villeneuve who is from Argentina (from what I gathered) and translated texts from French (and possible English and German) into Catalan. He might be dead by now as he was mainly active in the 40s and 50s. Any ideas where I could get information on him? My Spanish isn't up to scratch to compose an email like that so this is why I'm turning to you guys. I translate from French and German into English, so if you have any questions there, don't hesitate to ask.
Any help, even the slightest hint, would be much appreciated. Jay |

If he is/was a Certified Translator you could try in Colegio de Traductores Públicos de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (it has a Website).

thanks, Reminder. From what I understood you have to register first? I'll get someone with Spanish skills to help me on that. Hopefully, it'll work. Fingers crossed.
He may not have been a translator (registered or otherwise), only a guy who picked up some work here and there. Although I did see a lot of books by him on different subjects (politics, religion, Argentina), so there's hope. |
