Futbol anyone?

Hola! I'll start off by saying that this is a great idea. A forum where people can go who need help with spanish/english translations.

My name is Jay, I live in North Carolina, United States. I love soccer (futbol) so if you want someone to talk to about it, I'm your man. I'm in the 10th grade and taking Spanish. (Latin America is what he told us) I figured I would sign up so I could get some help on translating songs and other stuff he gives us. I'm not the kind of student who just wants it done and that's it. I actually want to understand Spanish. I want to travel when I get older and maybe play soccer in different places around the world.

Hope to meet yall soon. I'm sure I'll need some help in no time, though I do think Spanish is kinda easy.

Quite an impressive start here...there are many lovers of futbol, myself included. While most of us speak and understand Spanish pretty well, I don't know how many of us would refer to it as "easy", as you can see in some of the posts.

Well, what I have leanred so far is easy. I'm sure that once I get into it more, it will definately get difficult. But for now, the words are cognates so it's easy to remember them and I'm starting to learn phrases and how things link together.

And without futbol, I would go crazy!
