Default about Punta Cana

Hebe,

Thanks, but it will not happen, lately they keep me in my cage and don't let me out. They are afraid I might defect. it's the way this country functions, so I guess my career is over. I only made it to Jamaica and Spain. It's too big to explain, you would need to haver live in a c.. country to understand it.

Please, do listen to Leonard Cohen, you're gonna love it. Go for songs like "By the rivers dark, Dance me till the end of love, Take this waltz, Zuzanne, Famous Blue raincoat, and all that"

best,
Mario

Don’t give up hope Mario. Sooner or later that cage will open up .. Just get your wings ready to fly up to the open sky .. Envision yourselves winning a Domino World Championship. As Disney said, dreaming is the first step towards making dreams come true.
I will listen you the songs you recommended; just their titles say so much …….

All best

Default about the songs

Hebe,
If you get to listen to the songs, one of them: Take this Waltz, is an interpretation of Lorca's Pequeño Vals Vienés, a poem. Leonard Cohen was profoundly influenced by the work of Federico García Lorca. He also came in contact with Cesar Vellejo's work, but later in his life (I wished Vallejo had been the first source of inspiration). Vallejo's my favorite spanish language poet.

best,
Mario

Hello,

Yes, I am living in Cuba. Everything is (ab)normal. Nothing ever happens here. Whoever tells you there are things happening or that will happen, bet on it: it won't.

Best,
Mario

yeah,

I think when I said: I just got here (I was meaning to this forum).
I have always lived in Cuba.
When people tell me these days: How are things in Cuba? I assume they are talking about Castro's illness and the possible changes (as most people have always believed that his death would bring socio-economical changes). Based on that assumption, I said, nothing ever happens here.

Is it clear now?

Best,
Mario
