    Saludos!!!

The principal supporters of the president, the democratic members of Congress, show skepticism towards the White House agenda.

(I don't know why it says "cartas de apoyo. It seems to mean partidarios/supporters.)

Maybe it was meant to mean:
The principal letters of support for the president and the members of congress show skepticism towards the White House agenda. ??
This is ambiguous. It could mean either that:
    letters and members show skepticism
    or
letters of support for the president and congress

The punctuation of the original seems to indicate that the phrase separated by commas defines the "cartas" but that doesn't make sense since cartas can't be congresistas.
