    Default Formadores

    Good day

First I would like to thank everybody in this forum who give some of time helping others

I am trying to translate the following

Formadores is in italics in the original text.

Los formadores de la compañía de cada local contratarán a los actores siguiendo ellos mismos un estricto orden de prelación.

    Here is what I have:

The company mounters of each local will contract the actors according to a strict priority order.

    Thank you for your help.

I think the word you want is something to the effect of training officers.

    ¡Hola ONA! // Hi ONA!

Creo que 'formador' puede ser traducido como 'trainer' o 'instructor'. // I think that 'formador' can be translated as 'trainer' or 'instructor'.

¿Y que pasa con 'local'? ¿Te refieres a un lugar, un negocio, un teatro? No me suena bien... // And what about 'local'? Do you mean a place, a store, a theatre? It doesn't sounds good to me...

The company *trainers/instructors* of each *place/theatre* will contract the actors according to a strict priority order.

Espero que te sea de ayuda // Hope this could help you.

Let me try en help you:

Could you explain a little if formadores is related to people who put together the exterprise, or people who organizes a staff (being compañía the collective noun for the staff), or is a specific occupation in this type of activity they do?

IN each case, the term would be different:
For case 1, los formadores de la compañia would be: The company founders
For case 2, los formadores de la compañía would be: The organizers of the staff/troop/troupe
For case 3, los formadores de la compañía would be: The company instructors/guides/mentors

    I hope this helps.

Also, considering that compañía is used in Spanish as "troupe" is in English for the organized theatrical group (originally from French), the complete translation suggested can be:

The organizers of the troupe in each local will hire the actors according to a strict priority order.

    Hope this helps.

I think that Laurinha is right... I believe they are refering to those who train people, not the ones that founded the company, since in this case I think that the sentence in spanish would say "fundadores". "Formador" refers to a trainer or instructor...
