"hoy esta muy bien" might refer to many things, can you give us some more context...
because you might have been talking about someone, like how´s Mary/Tom...etc and you anwer she/he´s very well today...(hoy esta muy bien), but this also implies that this person hasn´t been feeling ok lately... so, can you give us the question for that answer??  |

It doesn't say "Hoy" it says "ho". I guess he/she wanted to say "Oh", so I believe the sentence means something like:
"Oh, it's OK. Well, have a nice weekend"  |

I've had the chance to work with spanish-speakers from almost every country in Latin America and I've seen many mistakes like this, especially when it comes to writing text messages. So I can say I'm almost an expert in "decoding" these kind of sentences! LOL
I don't mean to offend anyone. I'm from Argentina, so I know we're not exactly experts in writing!  |

but whta if the sentence was written by someone that was practicing his/her english too...
it could have a lot of meanings, maybe he/she was trying to say : Hoy es un buen día. Bueno, que pases un feliz fin de semana. it's also a common mistake for people who oirigally talk in english and are trying to lear english and doesn't know very well how to make up a sentence anyway... i think gise's option is the best in any case (: |
