Default Adelantado a Kant

Hola amigos.

Kant analysing the problem of God, inadvertently pushed aside something crucial: Christ's presence in history. An extraordinary, presence that the world has a sensitive experience and that said “I am the light, truth and life”. But who also is said that did miracles, what in any way must have discouraged, not only to Kant, but to many philosophers to persevere in the word of Christ, because of miracles confuses our supposedly rational mind. Only with advances in recent years, we can see on the horizon, a new almost miraculous world, where miracles are nothing but the product of human development.

All these thinkers neglected an alternative to achieve certainty, the heart alternative - Pascal mode. Can be Jesus of Nazareth truly God, showing with his presence, his existence?

Who awareness that Jesus really is God, not by miracles but by the certainty of his word, has not be necessarily believer in supernatural things but smart, because the word of Christ is light, truth and life. Because love cannot be separated from Christ. And deny love, is refusing to ourselves. We cannot live if we are not accompanied by this feeling.
Who knows that God is love, knows that Christ is God and that he was on Earth with no miracles of means.

With this, what I am saying, isn't that Kant has been wrong in his assessments about that it is impossible through rational knowledge to achieve certainty of these ideas from the pure reason, but there were Other, that with many years in advance, stood to this problem of reason and wanted, with his physical presence and his word (for love to the world) demonstrate the existence of which through the speculative reason is impossible: the presence of love in the universe (God).
From here comes the philosophical significance of Christ. His presence shows who is the true God before we could suspect.

Prove the existence of God, that is to say, of love in the universe as a being in itself, is almost ridiculous. However, Christ shows it with his presence by saying: “I am.” And “I am” is the God who appears to Moses behind of the zarza in flames, as also is who also makes open the waters of the miracle that through that narrow door, not only can pass Moses with his people, but that we can also enter the Kingdom of the intelligence and let us stop once the dark world of riddles.

From

Here is my translation of the first paragraph. Maybe you can get fellow members to translate the rest.

In analyzing the problem of God's existence Kant unwittingly laid aside something of paramount importance: the presence of Christ in history. An extraordinary presence, manifest in the world, who said, "I am the truth, the way and the life." Yet also someone who is reputed to have performed miracles, a claim that in some ways must have turned not only Kant but many other philosophers aside from perseverance in the word of Christ because the supernatural confounds our presumably rational minds. It is only recently, with the scientific and technological breakthroughs of the last few decades, that we can spot on the horizon a new, quasi-miraculous world where miracles are merely the product of human progress.

All of these thinkers neglected an alternative to achieve certainty, the alternative of the heart – the way of Pascal. Can Jesus of Nazareth be truly God, demonstrating with his presence his existence?

He who becomes aware that Jesus is really God, not by miracles but by the certainty of his word, doesn’t have to be necessarily a believer in the supernatural but rather simply intelligent, because the word of Christ is light, truth, and life, and because love cannot exist separate from Christ. And to deny love is denying our very selves. We cannot live if this feeling is not within us. He who knows that God is love, knows that Christ is God and that, through no miracle, he was on Earth.

Gernt,

I am not saying with this that Kant erred in his consideration that it is impossible though logical reasoning to secure the certitude of these ideas which themselves spring from pure reason, rather that there was Another who, with very many years of foresight, anticipated this issue of logic and who resolved by his bodily presence and by his word—out of love for the world—to demonstrate the existence of what speculative reasoning can not prove: the immanence of Love in the Universe (that is to say, God).

This is the source of the philosophical significance of Christ. His presence shows us who the true God is before we could suspect. Proving the existence of God, that is to say, proving love in the universe as an entity in and of itself is almost ridiculous. Nonetheless, Christ shows it with his presence by saying: “I am.” And “I am” is the God Who appears to Moses as a burning bush, and Who miraculously parted the sea such that not only could Moses and his people pass through that narrow passage, but we also may enter the Kingdom of intelligence, departing once and for all from the dark world of enigma.
