¿Qué significa "banalidades representativas" en esta frase? "Partenezco a una rama de la burguesía esforzada y frugal, poco dada a banalidades representativas". Muchas gracias de antemano |

Con mucho gusto. Creo que es muy similar en español: se da aires de grandeza, por ejemplo.
Supongo estoy pensando en la burguesía que llamemos “nouveau riche” que compran cosas ostentosas para demostrar tienen dinero. Estas cosas (o grandes fiestas) sí serían "banalidades representativas”. Pero la gente del escritor es más sencilla. Last edited by gernt : 07-27-2009 at 11:16 AM. |
