Default could someone help me with this little video recipe

I just need the list of ingredients used here. It seems pretty self explanatory but I want to make sure I don't miss any ingredients I want to get it just right. I have been looking for this recipe forever!

Hello Charlie,

The ingredients are:

4 tomates
1/2 cebolla
chile de árbol al gusto (cuanto más chile, mas picoso)
2 dientes de ajo
pimienta al gusto
sal al gusto
caldo

Saludos!

Thank you so much, cielglitter!

One thing I am curious about... someone else gave me a translation of this recipe but they said 2 cups of chicken stock. In the video does he say chicken stock or just the stock from cooking the vegetables?

I listened to it twice and heard only "de caldo" or “some bouillon”. I'll bet he was just talking about liquid from the pot. Seems like the salsa would be so blazing hot that the type of bouillon wouldn't matter. I gather that chilis de árbol or red chilis are about 6x hotter than jalapeños.

Thank you, gernt! That's the info I was looking for. I had found some other similar recipes for this sauce and hadn't seen any mention of chicken broth so that was confusing.

I am trying to reverse engineer my favorite meal from a local Mexican restaurant here in San Diego.
