de tarde en tarde
I´m traslating a silvina ocampo´s short story into English and i don´t know how to translate " de tarde en tarde". can anyone help me?

another possibility could be ´from time to time´ , ie occasionally - depending on the context

Depending on the context, it could be translated either as "any given afternoon" or - literally, "one afternoon after the other". I suggest you provide more context and we can advise you more precisely :-)
