Hello. I am not sure of the spelling, but does anyone know how to translate "es lo kiki"? This is how it sounds. I am under the impression it may be slang. If one person says this to another, what would it mean?

Hello,

I'm a Spanish native speaker and I've never heard that sentence. You were right about the slang, I think it might be Andalousian slang.

If I hear that I would understand "It's cool", or a more common way to say it in Spanish is... "es genial" (that's great). But as you said, it's definately slang.

Yea, I agree with Ibarguren. I'm a spanish native speaker (Argentina) and I've never heard that expression before. Maybe if you provide the context in which that someone said it, we might be able to understand what he/she meant by that. Oh! by the way, to me 'es lo kiki' sounds more like 'es loquiqui' (it sounds like a possible made up word meaning 'crazy/nuts' -loco- but in a funny way) Anyway, hope I helped you somehow

Thank you all for your replies so far. The context is two Mexicans speaking on the phone - not sure of the exact conversational context. The female says to the male something that sounds like, "es lo kiki". After a couple of sighs/giggles, she is then heard saying something like, "asa donde es?" Thanks again.

I'm not Mexican, but I'll make a guess:

Could be "haz lo que quieras" (do what you want)? In Mexican Spanish it would sound "/as lo que quieras/" and more or less... "es lo kiki"

I don't know what more it could be.

There is a sound clip in a song where a child says; "...y t� Kike?". That is the spelling in that version, with capital letter, and the last word sounds a bit similar.
I don't know what it means or if it has any connection, though.

umm, I think 'asa donde es?' must be '�hacia donde es?'
i'm still confused about the 'es lo kiki' expression tho...
