    Default empleado dependiente

Hi, how would you translate "trabajador dependiente"?

"Fecha en la cual el trabajador toma el status de Trabajador Dependiente"

I have no more context...the text is related to insurance companies..

    thanks

I would translate it as employee. Here is a website from Chile that defines trabajador dependiente as opposed to trabajador indipendiente, a self employer worker or contractor.

In addiiton to Joel's explanaition I would also say that it refers to the date on which the worker begins a a labor relationship/ enters into a labor agreement work (in Spansh is called relación de dependencia) with the employer.

    Hope it helps
