    Hola necesito su ayuda, gracias.

    When he’s in need of a trim, as he usually is, his hair takes on the appearance of a slightly dirty cotton ball that has been teased apart and thrust on the top of a pencil.

    Teased apart? Nunca ví ese phrasal... aunque me suena más a "arrancar".

    mirá, qué interesante, yo justo iba a decir que puede ser una mala "regularización" del verbo "tear" ("teared" en lugar de "torn"), pero lo de Gabriel me parece más acertado
