hola!.

estoy traduciendo un escrito de Alfonso Reyes, pero hay una parte que no entiendo y mucho menos sé cómo traducirla.. dice:

"... y seguía de frente, buscando espacios descubiertos para doctrinar en el buen tranco a mi montura."

Alguien que me pueda explicar y/o que tenga alguna sugerencia para traducirlo?

Gee. Let me try. If it’s totally off the wall, sometimes it goads someone into correcting me. It sure helps that you gave the author. I found out he’s Mexican:

…and continued forward, searching for open spaces to direct my mount moving at a full gallop.

Now I don't believe me. Tonight it seems like tranco doesn't have much to do with gallop here (but it can mean that and maybe was meant to suggest it), and it would just be "to direct my mount's footsteps".

well, I found sense to it. It seemed to fit in the translation as a whole.
