    Red face ¿Cómo se puede traducir al inglés este párrafo?

    La nota decía: «Has lo que lo que tu quieras, lo que mas quieras, has lo que tu decidas, has lo que mas te convenga, has lo que sientas mejor para todos».

    ¿Has?, dijo en voz alta. ¿Su marido se había ido con una mujer que escribía "haz" de hacer como "has" de haber? ¿Con una que no le ponía el acento a "tú" el pronombre y lo volvía "tu" el adjetivo? ¿Con alguien capaz de confundir el "más" de cantidad con el "mas" de no obstante?

    Evidentemente, la dificultad estriba en lo de las faltas de ortografía y la acentuación indebida. Al traducirlo al inglés, esto se pierde. ¿Cómo puedo encararlo?

    I think maybe I understand. Do you want to preserve the feeling evoked in reading the paragraph? If so, I’d think you might simply make it sound like a somewhat illiterate person and throw away the specifics.

    “Jest you do what you want to, what you most want to, what you make up to do, what turns you on, what feels best all around”.


    “Jest”, she (he?) said in a loud voice. This really is a jest. Your husband is going with a woman who can’t even complete a clause. “Make up to do?” And I’d hate to think what she meant by “turns you on”.
