    Default caballo de paso fino

"Caballo de paso fino". Is this a special breed of horse? Or just one trained to do dressage? An internet search seems to suggest that it might be, and if so, how would you translate it in English? A "dressage horse"? Or if it is not, would it be better to leave it as a "Paso Fino horse"?

Paso Fino is the name of the breed, although it seems to me I have heard them called Paseo Fino as well. This is due to their unusual gait giving the rider a smooth ride though it looks very odd to me. I know little about dressage but I believe this breed would not do well in this as their hind gait while providing little bounching does little to improve the looks of an athletic horse however I believe they were trained to give the well to do an excellent riding horse.
