spanish text shorthand
anyone familiar with the abbreviation "ATY" in spanish? and "HEW" or "HEWP"????? not sure what they stand for - some suggestions?

According to this page http://aty.hipatia.net/elgg/leonardo/weblog/1570.html and to this guaraní-spanish diccioneary http://www.uni-mainz.de/cgi-bin/guarani2/diccionario.pl aty is a guaraní word that means meeting, gathering, reunion, community or group Hope it helps, but without context it's very difficult...

Actually, I was wondering if HEW and HEWP might not be English acronyms. They stand for a few different health programs.

actually they have to be spanish slang text message abbreviations. aty was used at the end of a convo maybe "al rato te yamo" and "hew" or "hewp" maybe a weird way to say "you"?
what do you think? |
