Hi there I am translating an interview and am unsure of my translation of the following -
Luego comencé a jugar a fútbol siete. La etapa de juvenil la he cumplido en el Arsenal I have translated the above as meaning - First football memory: I would have been 6 or 7 years old. I was in a tournament between three schools of Arenys: el Maragall, Cassa and La Presentacio. I went with this team. That was my first competition, with all parents looking on. I also have the videotape recorded by my mother of when my father gave me the shirt, socks, shorts to wear. I was the happiest child in the world. I scored 3 goals and we won our matches 3-2 and then 2-1. It was an unforgettable experience Then I started football at seven. With 8 or 9 year olds and it was great. With the school p layed Saturdays at 12 and 4, with ‘small fry’ A team of Arenys. It was a weekend compeititon. Did he get tired? Never. I was doing what I like most! Later things became from difficult?. Yes, when I went to Mataró, although I trained with the “small fry” A team of the Barça. I had to be ready at 5pm because a taxi came to collect me and the other kids of the Maresme. At 7pm we trained and we did not get home until 11pm and still had to have dinner and do home work. So it was for five years until at 14 as a cadet he lodged at La Masia. It was the best year of my life. He then moved to Arsenal. Can anyone tell me if this translation is correct? Thanks ![]() |

I hope this will do it. I'm not sure about "salia corriendo del cole". Literally that says I went running from the "cole" whatever that is.

Hi
"el cole" is an abreviation for "el colegio" which means "the school". I would say :" I used to go out from school running" Hope this helps!! ![]() |
