That certainly is a lot better than the "acid stomach" I received in this translation. I know there's another term for it, I just can't seem to recal!

my favourite drink is a Spanish one, it is called Bonet,
that is a digestive drink and it used to be called “estomacal Bonet”
hence “Acidez estomacal” drew my attention.

I call it heartburn, even though it has nothing to do with the heart. If I go to the doctor I'd say "heartburn" but there might be a more precise medical term to describe it, I am not sure is reflux is the same thing or something specific of babies. English has a tendency to have a *posh* word and a colloquial form sometimes, so you need to sure of the context.

I have been living in England for 10 years and I also forget my Spanish! Glad I am not the only one!!. I told my mum on the phone yesterday that I couldn't hear myself thinking (no me puedo escuchar pensar en la cabeza) and she got quite sarky with me saying: "nice saying you've just made up Belén, shame it doesn't even sound remotely Spanish" etc etc...Parents eh!
