Question Saber + a... ¿qué significa?

Hola a todos!

Estoy en punto de traducir una canción y no reconozco el uso de "saber a," una frase que se repite en la canción. La he buscado en Wordreference, Real Academia Española, y Google pero sin éxito. ¿Alguién sabe? Aquí está el contexto:

De la canción "Mojado," por Ricardo Arjona
"Mojado sabe a mentira tu verdad / sabe a tristeza la ansiedad / de ver un freeway y soñar..."

Hay una canción de Serrat que dice: Tu nombre me sabe a hierba... es como decir: tu nombre me recuerda al olor de la hierba... me explico o te confundí más? jaja hope not

Hi there! Mer, that's a great explanation...

Now, lylek, I think translating that song is a really challenging work, for it's full of metaphores. However, I suggest " x feels like y" as a starting point...
