Default Beta Test and Spanish Wordlist

Hi all

I try to make a new multi language online dictionary.
The main focus is on minor languages like Khmer, Lao, Sorbian,...

But there is also a spanish - english dictionary (nearly empty).

There is a large list of words extracted from the wikipedia. The words are ordered by frequenzy

A hopefully easy to use translation-page is for collecting new translations.
Please help to test it.

Please try to add some new translations - no login required

http://datenkueche.com/extend.php?lang=es,en,ca,eu

thanks

Bernhard

It looks odd, the words are not arranged alphabetically, is it a dictonary?

Hello Bernhard,
I am sorry but I just don't get to use it or test it. Have no idea how it works. Could you please post more information? I am sure the users would be happy to help you.

No problem

I try to make a dictionary for many languages. At the moment there are some translations from german to other languages in my database.

For spanish - english the database is nearly empty.

To get new translations into the database there is this special page:

http://datenkueche.com/extend.php?lang=es,en,ca,eu

It is like a big spreadsheet. At the right side there is the word in spanish.
The other columns are for the translation.

It should be possible to type 50 new translations in about 10 minutes.

HOW TO USE

Click with the mouse to a white field an type a new translation.
There is also full keyboard support.

There are 3 columns that are editable:
one for english, one for Catalŕ ,...

Have a look at the german version:
http://datenkueche.com/extend.php?lang=de,en,la,es,fr
Which already has more words.

To prevent bad translations there is a single click voting system.
If the translation is goot click green, if the translation is bad click red.

All languages combinations are supported.

The searchpage is here:
http://datenkueche.com
But for spanish - english translations this makes not much sense at the moment.

For german - chinese I have more translations and I made two games for lerning:

http://datenkueche.com/tools/chinese/

http://datenkueche.com/tools/chinese2/

I just started 2 weeks ago with collecting words but already got about 6000 german to other languages translations from internet users.

Sorry for my bad english and thanks for testing

Bernhard

I was there 10 years ago and I did like it very much. Realy good music, nice people. But my spainish so bad.

Do you learn english at school in Cuba?

thanks a lot

Bernhard

PS:
There is also the other direction for translation.
That's maybe easier for native spanish speakers:
