I think the context here is related to computers and software so I would choose something like:

"it will say that it/they has/have been saved"

I am assuming the context so, that's what I think IT refers to the program and the second IT/THEY (SAVED) refers to the data.

Estas correcto. El contexto estaba de la computadora, entonces usé "it".
