Thank you for your replies this phrase gave me a lot of trouble trying to translate with online tools, the only sense i could make of it was "you or lets screw"

Many thanks again Eeden and mem286

Hi diablo, there you are, very important the origin of the sentence. In Spain I would have concluded that the sentence might have meant:

anda y que te jodan

which is rather vulgar to say: , get lost and go fuck yourself

Jesus! What a difference!

OK, OK...first let me say I'm not for censorship because we are adults here and we all know that people use vulgar language and indeed translators need to know all the vulgarities in order to understand what they are hearing or reading. (EX. I saw the word sh*t used onscreen in a TV advertisement for toilet paper in centroamerica because somebody at the TV station didn't know that sh*t is a vulgar word in English).

That being said, here's my question...how the heck is it that a legal word like lesbi*an gets censored with ******* on this board and a word like fuck, which is just about the most vulgar word in English, just flies by unnoticed?

Just wondering!!!
