Gracias Joel. Pero una probeta, al menos en Argentina, es un tubo que está graduado en volúmenes. He visto de varios tamaños desde 5 ml hasta 2 litros. Test tube es por acá "tubo de ensayos". Me decidí por "graduated test tube", espero que se entienda.

Entiendo pero en inglés se llama "beaker" por el tubo que está graduado en volúmenes. Creo que "beaker" es mas mejor que "graduated test tube" en este caso.

Laura,

I have never heard of a "graded test tube". I am familiar with "graduated test tube" but suggested "beaker" because graduated test tubes are usually small (not holding up to two liters) while beakers are made in the larger sizes.
