    Default "Law enforcement" in spanish

Could anyone please tell me how to translate, "I have been employed in various positions within "law enforcement" for 10 years.

Google Translate says the translation is "aplicación de la ley," but it obviously makes no sense. Thanks in advance.

You are right Mariaklec. As "agency" is implicit I gave it a wrong interpretation. Thank you Mariaklec and I apologize for my mistake.

    From wordreference.com: http://www.wordreference.com/es/tran...rd=enforcement

    agencia del orden público
    la policía

SilvinaSB: How would perezandric use your translation in the context of "I have been employed in various positions within..." ?

Agencias del orden publico sounds right. I believe I could say, he trabajado en agencias del orden publico o en el campo de mantenimiento del orden publico.
