    Default Translation/correction please!! :)

    Hello!
I need some help...I want to write a bday card in spanish...please correct me! How does this sounds to native speakers? Suggestions are very welcome!!

    Querido Nando

    Dear Nando

    Feliz Cumpleaños!

    Happy Birthday!

Los mejores deseos para tu cumpleaños!

I wish you all the best for your birthday!

I wish you that all your dreams will come true and that every day will be as special as today!

I hope you will like the book. It was one of my favorite books when I was a child.

It's snowing here for weeks and it is very cold. I'm envy you, it's so nice and warm in Chile! Send me some sun please!

    Thank you!!

Here are a few corrections just below your version. Anyway, you piece of writing is quite good and the meaning would get across all the same.

It's not "SE" but "ES" However as it WAS YOUR FAVOURITE BOOK, YOU MUST PUT THE VERB "ES" IN PAST, THAT IS TO SAY "ERA" SO, "ERA UNO DE MIS LIBROS ....."

    ¡Hola Ally! // Hi Ally!

¡Lo has hecho muy bien! // You did it quite good!

// I would only like to clarify a little Diegonel's correction.

Yo lo escribiría así: // I would write like this:

// It's just that I don't think it's grammatically correct to repeat 'era' much in the same sentence.

// If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me.

    Hola!!!

    Saludos!!!!
