    Default direct somebody round

hola, me gustaría saber si "direct somebody round" significa lo mismo que "ask sb round", es decir, invitar a alguien a su casa.

    gracias.

You come up with the strangest stuff!

Neither of these expressions is one that I recognize as common in American English. They would be understood equally well in context, but I have never heard anyone use them.

    this is the whole phrase:

"they had talked some fifiteen minutes about cakes before Angela heard her husband´s footsteps on the cinderpath. She bundled the little girl out the front door and direct her round,
    -Come again, soon, darling."

    thanks.
