Default Melón de Agua

Hola a todos!
Estoy haciendo una edición de unos cuentos y mi traductora puso Melón de Agua por Watermelon.
Mi primer instinto fue decir "que bestia" y cambiarlo por Sandía... pero despúes descrubrí que en algunos países se dice así.
MI cliente quiere que la traducción sea lo más neutra posible... les parece que deje Sandía o Melón de Agua?

Como dices "melón de agua" y "sandía" son sinónimos.

Yo introduciría ambos términos la primera vez, "melón de agua o sandía," para orientar a los diferentes lectores, y a continuación pondría solo "melón de agua" tal como escogió tu traductora. Y todos felices.
