¿Estarían bien las siguientes traducciones?


“Si hubiera ido de vacaciones, me hubiese gastado un monton de dinero”
“If I had gone holidays, I would have spend a lot of money”

“No habría ido a la fiesta, si hubiese sabido que él iva”.
“I wouldn’t have gone to the party, if I had known that he goes”.

“Si me paso la fecha del registro, no podre presentarme el FCE”
(aqui no sé si los acronimos deben de llevar o no el "the").
“If I overran the register date, I can’t do the FCE”.

“Si no me hubiese tomado la ultima copa, no estaría con esta resaca ahora” (aqui creo que se mezcla el condicional tipo 2 con el tipo 3)
“If I hadn’t drunk the last glass, I wouldn’t be with this handover now”.

“Si veo la foto, lo recordaré”
“If I saw the photo, I’ll remember it”

“Si no hubiese llevado las gafas puestas, no te hubiese reconocido”
“If I hadn’t been wearing the glass, I wouldn’t have recognized you”.

Muchas gracias Giulyfr. Creo que el traducir recolectar y traducir estas frases me gusta. Me recuerda un poco a cuando resolvia ecuaciones en el "cole".

“No habría ido a la fiesta, si hubiese sabido que él iva”.

Pienso que gramaticalmente la oración española es algo confusa porque parece esperar un complemento. (... el íba a la fiesta, ...él íba a estar ahí, ....el íba a estropearla, ... el íba a hacerme sentir mal, etc). Sin embargo, creo que cualquier hablante de español sobreentendería que al no tener un complemento significa que la persona que no deseaba que esté en la fiesta, fue también.

Mario Verber propone:
“No habría ido a la fiesta, si hubiese sabido que él iba a estar ahì”.
“No habría ido a la fiesta, si hubiese sabido que él iba a ir también”.
“I wouldn’t have gone to the party, if I had known that he would be there = was going to be there = was going too"

De estas traducciones yo preferiría la segunda con "was going too", porque se aproxima mejor a la original: "“I wouldn’t have gone to the party, if I had known that he was going too".

El sujeto soy YO.

La primera sugerencia de Mario significa que YO fuí a una fiesta donde ya se encontraba la persona con quien no deseaba estar. Por eso me arrepiento de haber ido.

Sin embargo la oración original parece plantear un escenario distinto. YO fuí a una fiesta y la persona que no deseaba que estuviera allí, no estaba cuando yo llegué. Pero llegó después porque él también se dirigía a la fiesta (el íba a la fiesta)".

Por eso preferiría la segunda opción propuesta por Mario.

Otra opción sería: "“No habría ido a la fiesta, si hubiese sabido que él iría”. Aquí no se puede saber si él ya estaba cuando llegué. Solo se sabe que estuvo en la fiesta y causó en el sujeto (YO) un arrepentimiento.



Mi inglés no es muy bueno y tampoco domino mi lengua materna (el español. Pero espero haber colaborado en algo.
