"I edited interviews only for clarity and on the basis of interest". |

a qué otra cosa se podría referir?

It sounds vague to me. It isn't clear to me what it means. Maybe the editor took out the boring parts?

I think it means that he edited the interviews based on the interest (of the audience, target, client, etc) and "claridad" meaning that he edited parts that were not clearly understood.
Hope it helps!

yeah, I quite agree with Sandra, because it might be "interest" for audience or for client...so, I guess that by leaving "interés" you are leaving it quite open too...
