    how do you say this symbols in English >/< . Could one be "minus" if so, what about the other?

    Greater Than / Less Than The greater object always goes to the largest end the lesser object always goes to the point for example:

    1 < 2 and 2 >3

    so 1 is less than 2 and 2 is greater than 3

    Sorry I am an idiot I meant:

    1 < 2 and 2 > 1

    so 1 is less than 2 and 2 is greater than 1
