Hello everybody!

I am a singer from The Netherlands and I am doing a series of ten concerts in the next weeks. One of the songs I'll be singing is Can't B uy Me Love by The Beatles. The orchestra is pla ying the latin version "No Puede Comprarme" as performed by Guianko on an album called "Tropical Tribute to the Beatles".

It would be great if I could surprise them by also singing the lyrics in Spanish. I do not speak spanish and there are no lyrics to be found on the internet (only literal translations). Therefore I am looking for help on this forum.

The last rehearsel is on in two days (Tuesday) and the first concert the day after, hence the word "Urgent" in the title.

If someone could supply the Spanish lyrics, that would be just the help I need to study this song. If you are fluent in Spanish you will probably be done in less than 15 minutes, I hope ;-).

Hi Tino,

I don't think it's a very bright idea to sing in Spanish if you don't speak Spanish and the lyrics don't even exist in Spanish and you don't have a coach that could even teach you phonetically.

I totally agree with Veronica, all you'll manage to do is make a fool of yourself, time is too tight!!

It is a noble concept, however your timing was off, there is simply no way to learn that much (or learn it well) in that short of time frame, however if all you need are the lyrics you could just purchase the album "Tropical Tribute to the Beatles" Sorry but even with that I am not sure you good intentions will come to fruition.

Perhaps if Tino could already speak Spanish and simply needed to learn the lyrics, but I still do not think that two days is long enough to learn the song, but perhaps Tino is a confident enough singer to do it. And lyrics must exist in Spanish otherwise what was the song ‘No Puede Comprarme’ it is simply a matter of finding those lyrics, which again in two days time just isn’t practical.

I did not read it to see if it is correct I just did a Google search for 'No Puede Comprarme' and this site was the top link.
