Hi everyone,
I'm preparing a project on translating advertisments. I've found an article about Constrained Translation which is very useful, but I don't really know the equivalent in Spanish. Is it "traducción subordinada"?
Thank you!
Hi everyone,

Let us have a look at the article, or at least the paragraph where the term appears.
I doubt "Traduccion subordinada" will be correct, but one of the following synonyms will probably do:
Limitada
Restringida
Confinada
Delimitada
Condicionada
Demarcada
If you could provide the English definition of your term it would help to make a choice. Without knowing more, I'd go with:
Traduccion restringida
I agree with Wolfgang. More context will help with the correct one. I would go for condicionada or restringida.
Realmente, el destino del mundo depende, en primer lugar, de los estadistas y, en segundo lugar, de los intérpretes.

I have stated many times and I will say it again: in Spanish it is all about the context you can ask one simply questions and end up with a hundred wrong answers, that are all correct, but in the wrong context for what you need. Is there anyway you can give us more detail on what you are trying to translate?
