    Default Building / Construction Phrase

I need the following phrase translated for a technical manual:

"Ramp (build up) floor to create high point."

This phrase is included in a diagram showing the floor sloping up to a pitch and then coming back down.

Thanks for any and all help!!

    How about something like this:
acumule el piso para crear la tapa
If it needs to be a ramp in the description you can use rampa

May work. But does acumule refer more towards "accumulating/accumulation" versus "building/constructing"?

    What about
Rampa en el piso (para obtener un punto elevado/una elevación)
I'm not sure if you have to use the verb
    Construya una rampa para obtener...

    hope it helps!

I agree with Sandra's version: Construya una rampa en el piso para obtener un punto elevado/una elevación.

Just one little thing, if the manual is for South America, "piso" is correct, but if it's for Europe, you need to say "suelo".

    Buenas,

Popette: both "piso" and "suelo" are equally ok here. Obviously "piso" is commonly heard among builders.

    Piso:
    2. m. Pavimento natural o artificial de las habitaciones, calles, caminos, etc.

    Suelo:
    (Del lat. solum).
    1. m. Superficie de la Tierra.
    2. m. Superficie inferior de algunas cosas; p. ej., la de las vasijas.
    3. m. Asiento o poso que deja en el fondo una materia líquida.
    4. m. Sitio o solar de un edificio.
    5. m. Superficie artificial que se hace para que el piso esté sólido y llano
    6. m. Piso de un cuarto o vivienda.
