    Smile Letter Accents?

    Hi everyone!

I have a question about accents, meaning accents above letters in a word and which one is appropriate =)

Basically wondering where the accent would go and how on a word like risque ( for lack of a better example )

say you want to pronounce risque, as just " risk " but leave the spelling of risque the same, where and how would the accent be placed? Basically how to make the "ue" part silent. Thanks so much in advance everyone!,

Hi Risque, here is a good Web page to learn the rules for written accents in Spanish

This is an entirely different thing Risque, In Spanish with a few exceptions there are no silent letters. The letters "ue" would never be silent in words lie "fue", "juego" etc. Now the letters "ue" preceded by "q" (que) sound "Ke" like in the word Chemestry.

    Hope this helps

You can take advantage of computer speech synthesis software to get familiar with pronunciation, it reads with natural voices just like a radio broadcasting. take a look at the web site below.
    http://www.panopreter.com/

There are many voice engines, the following voice engines are of high quality. You can install it on your computer, then panopreter will read with it.

Whenever you have accent problems, you can run the software, it will pronounce the words or sentence correctly.
