    He aprendido que se traduce "think" (Chris thinks...) con "creer" y no con "pensar." ¿Qué opinan ustedes?

    My textbook says that think, when it refers to my opinion, what I believe, is translated with creer. Your last example indicates the same thing. So, would you say "Chris cree que es muy raro..."? Would both cree and piensa be correct and equally common?

    Yes, you can say that, though "pensar" is more commonly used than "creer"

    jejeje, as you can see Maria , this depends on the country. Over here creer would be much more common.

    Cree que.....

    Chris cree que es muy raro que no le hayas dicho que estás dando clase de español.
