Default Refugiados O Inmigrantes?

Tengo un texto que habla de las personas que llegan en cayucos a las costas canarias y les llama refugiados no se si usar este vocablo en la traducción o cambiarlo por inmigrantes ilegales espero que alguien me de su opinion.Muchas gracias

Default Refugiados o inmigrante?

Hola Cibergela,
Justo estuve hace minutos escuchando un informativo de Cnn en espańol y sería muy mala si no te pasara este dato. Hablaban del muro que USA planea construír al sur para detener a los inmigrantes ilegales...bla, bla, bla asi que ahí tienes la respuesta de una buena fuente no?

En ese caso se trata, en mi opinión de un modo bastante claro, de "inmigrantes ilegales". Una definición de refugiado en

Think about being “Politically Correct”
Translate only the information presented and not any perception of what you might think it is.
Not all refugees are illegal some are just persons in exile.

A refugee, someone who is forced to leave their country for a social, political or religious reason.

Saludos Cibergela:

Los terminos a mi parecer que aplican a los inmigrantes que llegan a Canarias en Espana son varios:

En Espana a los inmigrantes que no estan legalizados les llaman:
SIN PAPELES o puedes utilizar el termino INMIGRANTE INDOCUMENTADO.
El termino Sin Papeles suele ser despectivo y usado mucho por los medios y la poblacion xenofoba en un intento de degradar al inmigrante.
Tanbien usan el termino INMIGRANTES ILEGALES en el mismo concepto.

INMIGRANTES INDOCUMENTADOS me parece apropiado pero usa tu buen juicio y el contexto del mensaje a traducir para decidir.
